Macildowie HR are working with a fabulous organisation on the Leicester/Coventry border as they are looking for a Training Assistant to join their team for a period of 6 months initially. You will work alongside the wider Learning & Development and Health & Safety teams to support with projects and employees across the business. Offering up to ?27,000 for the right candidate and looking for an immediate start.

The Role

Acting as the first point of contact for the H&S Department, you will answer queries or escalate as required whilst developing, managing, planning and monitoring H&S related courses and training materials.

You will also deliver H&S related training courses to range of audiences and organise refresher training before the expiry of the current training.

Co-ordinating and delivering inductions for all new starters will fall within your remit as will advising, guiding and coaching all employees with the implementation of the company procedures.

You will also produce monthly reports for the H&S department, facilitate and deliver on-going Health & Safety courses to internal employees and be responsible for coordinating training courses.

Communicate and build relations with relevant stakeholders, schedule and ensure completion of the correct induction paperwork and assess relevant training needs for all employees and organise, in consultation with departmental heads, including assessment methods.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of managing large volumes of administration as well as developing and delivering training sessions.
  • Inspired and self-motivated to provide the best possible level of service to the business.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal and able to influence at all levels.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong organisation and prioritising skills as well as able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to multi task.
