Macildowie HR are working with a leading organisation based in Coventry to source a Talent Manager / People Development Manager to work from concept to execution, having a distinct influence on their talent journey and being passionate about making a difference. This permanent Talent Manager role is based in Coventry and paying ?45,000 - ?50,000 FTE, 15% bonus, private medical care on either a full time of 4 days a week bases.

Reporting into the Head of L&D and OD and working closely with the HR Business Partner you will act as the Talent & Development expert to strategically define the required capabilities and work out which gaps can be filled via development and talent initiatives. Balancing effectiveness and cost efficiency will be a key part of your role.

You will have a curious and creative mind, eager to understand what makes people tick, but have the ability to focus on process and look at things from a business point of view. You will be an experienced Talent Manager/Partner, Learning & Development Manager or Organisational Development Manager who can add value to the talent process through understanding the tools and mechanics of the talent management. We are looking for someone to develop the leadership programme in order to create an engaged workforce whilst ensuring the organisations values, mission and purpose are clear and inspiring.

The Candidate
You will be an experienced People Development or Talent Management (not talent acquisition) specialist and passionate about making a difference a real team player who is able to demonstrate a broad range of change management skills and the application of project management principles in the delivery of organisational change. ? You will possess excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities working under pressure in a very fast paced, changeable environment.
