Macildowie HR are working with an growing company in the FMCG industry in Coventry who are currently looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their HR team and drive business performance through its people. They are looking for someone who has a track record of working in a fast paced organisation delivering excellent results. This role is perfect for someone who is currently sat at HR Advisor level and wanting to prove themselves.

This is a permanent position, offering between ?30,000 and ?35,000.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of HR and the Managing Director, you will ensure the effective and appropriate HR policies and procedures are in place, giving first line advice on a range of complex employee relations issues, frequently coaching the team to develop their knowledge and key understanding, end to end recruitment and leading on large-scale initiatives.

You will also be involved in both the recruitment and L&D process within the organisation, supporting specialist teams to deliver a great candidate experience during the recruitment process, and then ensure onboarding training is completed quickly and efficiently.

The final key part of this role is to help coach the HR administration team in the organisation. Whilst they will not be directly managed by the successful candidate, the ability to use your experience to enhance their performance and upskill these individuals is of real importance.

There will also be the scope to get involved in some fantastic commercial projects such as long term talent mapping, or the creation and delivery of engagement surveys.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have proven generalist experience with a strong and up to date knowledge of employment law so as to provide critical advice and support to the business.

You will also need the ability to identify areas of improvement and implement practical solutions in order to develop the HR function of the organisation.
