Interim Senior HR Advisor - Northampton - ?35,000-?40,000

Macildowie Recruitment is pleased to be working with a leading business in Northampton on the recruitment of an interim Senior HR Advisor. The role will be recruited initially on a fixed term basis and will pay in the region of ?35,000-?40,000 dependent on experience.

The Role
The Senior HR Advisor will work closely with the HR Business Partner, focusing on operational HR delivery and raising leadership capability to support the business HR strategy.

The Senior HR Advisor will take the lead on a variety of employee relations matters including disciplinaries & grievances but more prominently absence and performance management. The postholder will work closely with the management population to improve HR and management capability. Working with the L&D team, the Senior HR Advisor will help to identify training needs and will ensure that development opportunities are offered to ensure that required competency is achieved across the business.

The postholder will support on ad hoc projects and will take part in various forums to ensure that engagement remains high and the business is prepared for a variety of change projects. The Senior HR Advisor may need to review or implement new policies, support recruitment and provide management information to key stakeholders.

The Person
You will be an experienced HR Advisor with vast operational experience. You will be comfortable challenging and managing resistance to change and will have a strong track record of building relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Experience working with sales functions and/or regionally based employees would be beneficial, as would a CIPD qualification.
