Macildowie HR are really exciting to be working with a fantastic not for profit organisation in looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their proactive and professional team on a 9 month FTC. The role has come around due to an internal secondment within the team and offers you the opportunity to be involved with a fantastic business doing a fully generalist HR role. The role is paying between ?25,500-?28,800 depending on your experience.

As the Senior HR Advisor you will sit within the HR team providing generalist HR support to the wider business. This will include handling a wide range of Employee Relations casework and supporting line managers with complex disciplinary and grievance cases. You will also be involved in tracking sickness and absence whilst ensuring that managers are following the correct procedures needed. As well as ER cases, you will be responsible for the full recruitment process, ensuring that you are bringing top talent into the business and finding new and innovate ways of sourcing this. The role will enable you to work in partnership with the Regional Services Manager and ensure that management are provided with accurate and detailed information.

You will get the chance to line manager the HR Administrator, ensuring that they are performing to the best of their ability and holding quarterly performance reviews with them. You will be required to support them with direction and guidance when needed. As the business has various sites, there may be occasional travel involved to their Nottingham based office when needing to hold meetings.

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous HR Advisory experience
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law and legislation
  • Be able to work in both a team and by yourself
  • Be confident and good with making decisions swiftly
  • Be able to communicate to key stakeholders at all levels
  • Have a strong generalist background
  • Have a full driving licence
  • Be CIPD qualified or Degree equivalent
