Are you looking for a part time role but have the flexibility to do extended hours if necessary? Have you had experience of managing high volume, complex ER casework? I am recruiting for a business, based in Nottingham, who are looking for a versatile HR Manager to join them for a 10 month contract, 3 days a week to effectively manage the transactional side of HR as well as the higher level ER cases.

The Role:
This will be a generalist role and will entail various aspects of HR. One of your key responsibilities will be to manage the recruitment and induction process for the company. This will include advising managers on best practice, co-ordinating the attraction and selection process and managing the succession planning. Another key aspect of the role will be managing the pension information for the company and liaising with the pension and benefits providers in order to communicate accurate information with employees. Providing appropriate and effective support to line managers on all disciplinary and grievances issues will be essential. You should regularly review company policies and procedures and ensure that you are advising in line with company regulations.

About You:
In order to be successful in the selection process of this role you will need to have extensive experience dealing with high volume ER cases and experience managing the HR Administration for your company. It would be advantageous if you had experience working with unions as well. This is a dual role where you will be involved in the day-to-day HR administration but also some projects that the HR Director may assign to you. You will need to be flexible both in the sense of working hours/days and the remit of your day-to-day role.
