Macildowie HR are working with a fun and friendly organisation in the heart of Leicester as they are looking for an L&D Officer to join their team to focus on apprenticeships! This is a permanent position, offering up to ?25,000 for the right candidate as well as a range of great benefits.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the apprenticeship programme in this large, multifaceted organisation, so must be fully conversant with the Apprenticeship Levy.

You will be responsible or the planning, implementation and managing the day to day running of the apprenticeship programme

Promoting and identifying apprenticeship placement opportunities will fall within the remit of your role and you will also manage the full process in accordance with the requirements

You will also work closely with the wider recruitment team and line managers to coordinate the recruitment for the apprentices whilst working to plan, organise and facilitate the apprentice induction programme

Carry out regular meetings and reviews and design individual learning plans when required will also fall within your responsibility, as will undertaking project work as directed by the L&D Manager

The Ideal Candidate

In order to be successful in this role you must have experience within the L&D field but specifically around apprentices and have a great understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy

CIPD qualifications or similar within L&D would be highly advantageous

Confident, friendly manner and great organisational skills

Ability to work well on your own as well as in a team, partnering with the wider HR team as well as stakeholders across the organisation
