L&D Manager - Northampton - ?40,000

Are you a bright, confident L&D Manager looking for a newly created role that you can shape and add value in a growing business? Macildowie Recruitment is pleased to be working in collaboration with an ambitious growing business in the recruitment of their new L&D Manager position. The role will be recruited on a permanent basis and will pay around ?40,000.

The Role
Working with the wider HR team, the L&D Manager will be responsible for leading on a variety of L&D initiatives; apprenticeships, soft skills training, management development and capability assessments. Due to being a small growing business, the L&D Manager will be required to build a lot of the materials and programmes from scratch but may have some external support.

The L&D Manager will have budget responsibility and will be required to complete the end to end process from TNA and design, through to delivery and feedback. All of the core activities within this role will tie into the development of new career pathways and development routes within the business. As the role is newly created there will be scope for the postholder to shape the role moving forward.

The Person
You will be a competent L&D Manager comfortable with all aspects of the training cycle and will have a genuine appetite to build something new. You will have experience in designing and delivering training and development programmes from the ground up. You will have a true partnering approach to working with stakeholders at all levels. You will be a natural leader with strong communication skills and an ability to flex style and approach to meet the varied demands of the business.
