The opportunity

Macildowie HR are working with a leading business in Coventry as they are looking for an L&D Coordinator to join them due to considerable recent growth, for 6 months initially with a possibility of a much longer contract or a permanent role. This role is offering a salary between ?22,500-?27,000 dependant on experience.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for delivering critical day- to- day L&D operational requirements in a fast paced department, you will be scheduling training, printing training documentation and working in partnership with trainers, HR and the wider business.
You will be the first point of contact within the L&D Academy on a daily basis and will support all offices within the business for their training requirements whilst also being responsible for printing and collating all relevant material with fall within this role, as will organising room bookings and carrying out essential induction training for new starters.

You will schedule training courses for new trainees on the system and send invitations through Outlook , as well as collating monthly reports for the Board of Directors Meetings.
Although this role may appear heavy on the administration side such as arranging hotels and sending onboarding emails, you will also facilitate any additional training such as new systems and create workbooks and training guides alongside the rest of the L&D team

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be systematic, disciplined and professional in your approach and ideally come from an L&D or HR background. You will also need to develop a broad knowledge of the business and to be able to support the delivery of materials to trainers to aide courses.

Another key feature in the ideal candidate is the ability take a logical and organised approach to delivery and have a keen eye for detail, along with excellent time management skills whilst remaining calm under pressure.
