Macildowie HR are working with a leading business in Leicester as they are looking for an L&D Coordinator to join them for 3 months initially with a possibility of a much longer contract or a permanent role.

They are one of the UK's fastest growing suppliers of professional services and are all about excellent service. They have recently relocated and have revamped their entire office to reflect their brand, and the whole building looks spectactular.

This is a 3 month FTC which is due to start ASAP so you must be immediately available or coming to the end of your current contract. This role is offering a salary between ?22,500-?27,000 as well as free parking.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for delivering critical day- to- day L&D operational requirements in a fast paced department, you will be scheduling training, printing training documentation and working in partnership with trainers, HR and the wider business.

You will be the first point of contact within the L&D Academy on a daily basis and will support all offices within the business for their training requirements.

Printing and collating all relevant material with fall within this role, as will organising room bookings and carrying out essential induction training for new starters.

You will schedule training courses for new trainees on the system and send invitations through Outlook , as well as collating monthly reports for the Board of Directors Meetings.

Although this role may appear heavy on the administration side such as arranging hotels and sending onboarding emails, you will also facilitate any additional training such as new systems and create workbooks and training guides alongside the rest of the L&D team

The Ideal Candidate

You will be systematic, disciplined and professional in your approach and ideally come from an L&D or HR background.

You will possess or develop a broad knowledge of the business and will be able to support the delivery of materials to trainers to aide courses.

You will also take a logical and organised approach to delivery and have a keen eye for detail, along with excellent time management skills whilst remaining calm under pressure.
