Macildowie HR is currently working with a large organisation based in Milton Keynes for an Internal Talent Officer to join their HR/Talent team. As the Internal Talent Officer you will play an important role in supporting the development of colleagues and the delivery of talent plans inside the organisation. As well as this you will be responsible for working closely with the Senior Talent Partner to support the delivery of a strategic talent plan for a business area within the company.

-In some parts of the business you will organise and deliver the corporate induction programme so that new colleagues are ready to complete their role/dept specific training as soon as they arrive in their department.
-Review the effectiveness of your learning delivery skills through course evaluation forms, making improvements as required.
-Support the L&D Centre of Excellence to ensure new L&D solutions for colleagues are fit for purpose, providing feedback to improve both content and user experience.
-Co-ordination of the job evaluation process for roles within your business area, ensuring they are evaluated fairly and consistently, In addition ensuring the roles have been benchmarked so that reward packages are equitable and in line with similar roles both internally and externally.
-Guide line managers to be able to access, explain and use the L&D offer available to support their own personal development and that of their colleagues.
-Support the Senior Talent Partner in delivering the talent plan, analysing data and managing and coordinating activities as required.
-Support the Senior Talent Partner in ensuring all Group talent processes and tools are used effectively and key activities completed in a timely manner, and feeding back to the Talent on the efficacy of these tools and processes.

-A good understanding of the general HR principles, including talent management.
-Experience in delivering engaging face to face training, behavioural and technical.
-An awareness of how different individuals learn and how to apply this flexibly to the delivery of training.
-Some understanding of resourcing practices.
-An appreciation of the diversity and inclusion agenda.
-Show initiative to implement ideas but take an objective view on what is realistically possible
