Macildowie is delighted to be working with a world leading manufacturing business based in Wellingborough in the recruitment of a HR Systems Administrator. The role is being introduced due to an increased workload within the business and a new system implementation. This is a permanent position offering a salary of up to ?24,000.


The role will be situated within HR, supporting line managers with changes happening around the HR system 'Sage Snowdrop'. You will be responsible for all administration around the system and ensuring that any existing records are inputted onto the system making it a 'paperless' environment. You will ensure that all HR training records are up to date and maintain the training and development database. This role will enable you to be the key user of the system and manage all eLearning training modules, assisting line managers with identifying suitable training needs for each employee. You will liaise with existing training providers to build up relationships and contact any new providers that could be key for the business. Coordination of the booking for training courses is essential along with communicating any details out to delegates.


Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up rooms for internal training courses
  • Coordinating the apprenticeship levy administration
  • Ensuring the HR database is up to date and accurate
  • Creating reports using the system and delegating to line managers
  • Uploading any qualification and training updates onto the system
  • Supporting with additional ad hoc projects

The role is the ideal opportunity for someone who is looking at expanding their HR systems knowledge and has strong administration skills. Previous experience of working within a HR environment or in an L&D administration role would be advantageous.

You will have:

  • A good understanding of HR/L&D
  • Good accuracy of work and the ability to keep information confidential
  • Proficient computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong systems experience
  • A willingness to progress within HR
