THE OPPORTUNITY:

Macildowie HR is excited to be working with an instantly recognisable and well respected brand based in Telford, Shropshire. The client are looking to recruit an experienced HR Officer who can deal with HR queries and issues across the function, in a fast paced, busy and exciting environment. The role is permanent and looking to pay between ?25,000 and ?30,000 dependant on experience.

THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role itself is a generalist role, in which you will be the 1st point of contact for all queries about HR and are expected to use your exemplary communication skills to resolve these in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be involved in a volume of TUPE work which is essential to driving the business, and also support in performance management in a coaching or developmental style to get the best out of colleagues throughout the business. There will be involvement in other areas of employee relations as well, including disciplinary, absence management and grievance. The final key duty in this role is to be involved in updating and writing new HR policy, using your employment law knowledge to reduce business risk.


EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate must be CIPD qualified, with a strong generalist background working across the HR function. The candidate should have a proven track record of adding value to an organisation through their stakeholder and performance management, using communication skills to negotiate and resolve conflict if it arises. The ideal candidate will also have experience of practical application of their up to date employment law in issues such as TUPE and disciplinaries. The final main feature of the successful candidate is an individual who can work with pace and precision in an independent manner, with the ability to make decisions.
