HR Manager - Corby - Permanent - up to ?39,000

Macildowie Recruitment is pleased to be working exclusively with a business going through positive change in the recruitment of an HR Manager. The role will work as part of a small site management team, will be recruited on a permanent basis and will offer a salary of up to ?39,000.

The Role
The HR Manager will enjoy a generalist remit lending the postholder a varied range of responsibilities and spread of project activities. Working in a standalone capacity on site, but with HR peers within the group business network, the HR Manager will take the lead on all HR activities; ensuring a high level of service delivery and working to develop the long term HR strategy.

The HR Manager will be tasked with driving management capability, raising employee engagement levels and streamlining HR workflows to ensure an efficient and effective level of service to the business. The postholder will have ownership of talent acquisition and management; getting to grips with the local employment market and position the business competitively to attract top talent but also assessing current business capabilities and implementing initiatives to push talent through the business or develop people into skills gaps.

The postholder will act as custodian for all people metrics and will encourage best practice among operational managers on all people data including absence, performance, sickness.

The Person
Our client is looking for a self starter to join the business a time of change and therefore looking for someone that can effectively manage stakeholders and change processes. The successful candidate will have a generalist background and will be comfortable working in a business with on site and group focused directives. CIPD qualification would be a bonus but are not a prerequisite for the role.
