Macildowie HR are working with a respected SME based in Warwickshire who are currently looking for a HR Manager to join their team and be an integral part of driving business performance through its people. They are looking for someone who has experience working within the retail industry, with a track record of working in a fast paced organisation delivering excellent results. This role is perfect for someone who is currently sat at Senior HR Advisor level and wanting to prove themselves.

This is a permanent position, offering between ?30,000 and ?35,000.


The Role

Reporting into the Finance Director this is a stand alone role, where you will ensure the effective and appropriate HR policies and procedures are in place, giving first line advice on a range of complex employee relations issues, frequently coaching the team to develop their knowledge and key understanding, end to end recruitment and leading on large-scale initiatives.

You will also be involved in both the recruitment and L&D process within the organisation, supporting specialist teams to deliver a great candidate experience during the recruitment process, and then ensure onboarding training is completed quickly and efficiently.

The final key part of this role is to help bring the organisation in line with data protection acts and ensure legal compliance for all personal data across the organisation.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have proven generalist experience with a strong and up to date knowledge of employment law so as to provide critical advice and support to the business.

You will also need the ability to identify areas of improvement and implement practical solutions in order to develop the HR function of the organisation.
