HR Manager - Rushden - 12 Month Contract - up to ?55,000 + Car + Benefits

Macildowie are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a unique global business in the recruitment of a maternity cover HR Manager position. The role is expected to last around 12 months and our client is ideally looking for someone to start in February. The base salary for this role will be up to ?55,000 + generous car allowance and benefits.

The Role
Working as part of the international HR team and reporting into the HR Director, the HR Manager will enjoy a varied generalist role entailing all aspects from change management and ER to L&D and reward. The HR Manager will promote continuous improvement behaviours and highly efficient performance.

The HR Manager will ensure consistent and effective deployment of the HR strategy across specific areas of the business. With an inspiring and credible manner, the HR Manager will manage the HR & Payroll teams, which includes a population of business partners and a service desk team, to deliver a high level of service, but will also act as the escalation point for any queries as the subject matter expert.

The HR Manager will act as a coach and guide to senior managers, championing ownership and responsibility to help sustain a collaborative, high performing and customer centric culture. The postholder will need to manage a multitude of relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, which will entail ensuring a high level of accuracy and reliability in terms of management information and reporting. The expectation will be that the HR Manager identifies nuances or trends in data and act accordingly, feeding into the relevant parties to adjust localised HR strategies if needed. The external relationship s to manage will include recruitment agencies, benefits providers, transport services and training providers.

UK travel will be a part of this role, as well as occasional international travel.

The Person
Our client is looking for a reliable, seasoned HR generalist ideally with some experience in large complex organisations with a varied and geographically spread workforce that can lead and motivate the HR team. Any candidates to be considered should have experience in organisational development, recruitment, transactional rewards and have solid employment law knowledge. Attention to detail, high computer literacy and a strong presentation manner are essential for success in the role, and CIPD or equivalent qualifications are desired.
