Macildowie HR are partnering an organisation based in Leicester to source a HR Manager to work in a generalist hands on role whilst managing an operational team. This organisation has gone through one of the most exciting times in its history in 2017! With 600 employees we are looking for someone who can support operationally as well as to manage large scale projects. The role is a 6 month contract and paying ?45,000 + Benefits.

The Role:
Reporting into the HR Director and managing a team of 4 operational HR Advisors you will play a key part in the company's success. You will use your excellent communication and listening skills to build relationships with senior managers to support on all matter HR, introducing new ideas and helping implement them into the company.

Leading through your team, your HR Advisor will take on lower level ER and Admin work and you will support on complex employee relations including disciplinaries & grievances, looking at performance management and absence management and the effective implementation of new policies and procedures. You will lead on various strategic projects including the implementation of the new HR system and new KPI's & performance appraisals across the entire business.

Due to the rapid growth of the business we are looking for a problem solver, someone who can bring in new ideas and improve the department's processes and procedures.

The Candidate:

  • Excellent generalist operational experience
  • Proven track record in HR, with strong employment law knowledge
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to think laterally and creatively about the challenges of the role
  • Highly organised, eye for detail, and able to prioritise and work closely to agreed deliverables
  • Collaborative working style, with strong people skills and a good sense of humour
