Macildowie Recruitment is working exclusively with a reputable business with national reach on an HR Manager vacancy. The HR Manager will be based from Northampton but will be required to travel to other sites on occasion across the business. The role will report into the Head of HR and will pay up to ?50,000 + benefits.
The Role The HR Manager will work as part of a sizeable HR team and will be required to direct and indirectly manage a variety of HR colleagues. The HR Manager will work very closely with the site management teams to embed short and long term HR strategies to drive performance and improve engagement, particularly in post integration environments. . The role will have lot of TUPE, change and P&L responsibility but will involve all aspects of generalist HR; including but not limited to Employee Relations, Reward, Learning & Development and Talent & Succession.
The HR Manager will function in an operational/ tactical capacity in the main but will lead on a number of projects. Projects that this HR Manager will pick up will include recognition programmes to support retention initiatives, capability and development programmes to support internal succession and reward initiatives to help attract new talent.
The Person You will be CIPD qualified and will have a collaborative, team player mentality. Experience working in a fast paced environment is essential to hit the ground running, as well sound experience in TUPE, change management and managing a P&L. You will be comfortable building relationships in a fast paced, challenging environment and will be able to work on your own initiative.
