Macildowie HR are currently recruiting for a HR Manager for an interim contract of 6 months to start as soon as possible. Reporting directly to the HR Director and with one direct report, the HR Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of robust and impactful HR processes. Our client are a leading manufacturing group who supply products throughout Europe and are known for their industry expertise. The position of interim HR Manager offers a competitive salary, flexible environment and a collaborative culture.

As the HR Manager you would be responsible for managing all operational aspects of HR including, but not limited to; employee engagement, employee relations, coaching and upskilling of managers, payroll, recruitment (particularly for roles that sit at a management level) and the review of processes. You will work closely with the HR Assistant to up skill and develop their skills and will encourage collaboration with peers throughout the business. You will work closely with managers and supervisors to coach them through employee related issues or questions and will act as the primary point of contact within the business for any activity relating to the employee life cycle. This is a hands on role that requires a strong capability in employee relations as you will work proactively to highlight any trends and patterns in the employee's lifecycles and provide suggestions to overcome these.

The successful candidate for this role will be an experienced HR generalist who enjoys working in a operational role. You will be passionate about collaborative working, be able to demonstrate a natural proclivity towards coaching and be a proactive solutions focused individual. Previous experience of varied and complex employee relations cases would be highly beneficial as would a sound understanding of engagement, leadership development and payroll. You will be a fantastic communicator who network well across all areas of a business.
