HR Manager - Huntingdon/ Peterborough/ St Neots - up to ?40,000-?50,000

Macildowie Recruitment is working with a reputable business with national reach on a Regional HR Manager vacancy. The HR Manager will manage the HR service for a group of sites within a small geographical region. The role is being recruited on a permanent basis and will pay ?40,000-?50,000 + benefits.

The Role
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing a small team and a varied client base, with headcount on each site ranging from 100-400 people. The HR Manager will work very closely with the site management teams to embed short and long term HR strategies to drive performance, improve engagement and facilitate a culture of team working. The role will involve all aspects of generalist HR, including but not limited to Employee Relations, Reward, Learning & Development, Talent & Succession and change management.

The HR Manager will be focused on driving capability across the management population through coaching and, working with the new L&D Manager, developing and rolling out Management Development programmes. The HR Manager will also be tasked with changing behaviours within the HR function which will in return help to create an operational workforce that truly takes ownership of its HR related issues.

The Person
You will ideally be CIPD qualified and will have a collaborative, team player mentality. You will be proactive in nature and have a strong focus on customer service. Experience working in a fast paced environment is essential to hit the ground running, as well a sound knowledge of ER and change management. You will be comfortable building relationships in a fast paced, challenging environment and will be able to work on your own initiative.
