HR Generalist - Northampton - ?35,000 - 12 Months

Macildowie are pleased to be partnering with a fast paced, leading business in the recruitment of an HR Generalist on a contract basis. The role will be based from their head office, will report into the Head of HR and will pay c?35,000 mark plus benefits.

The Role
Reporting into the Head of HR, and working as part of a small HR team, the HR Generalist will be the face of HR for the operational business and will cover a broad generalist remit. Partnering the business and the management team, the HR Generalist will work collaboratively to deliver the HR strategy and support the key business objectives and projects.

While there are no direct reports into this position, the HR Generalist will be a subject matter expert and will be expected to manage a number of internal relationships, as well as key external relationships effectively.

For the coming year, the postholder will enjoy a varied role with a good mix of time spent customer facing; facilitating projects, delivering training and upskilling managers, ? but also writing new policies, process and training materials as the business looks to improve on a number of key operational areas. The Head of HR expects the HR Generalist to touch all areas of generalist HR and will play a key role in the delivery and implementation of exciting HR initiatives as part of the longer term business plan.


The Person
Our client is looking for an energetic and down to earth self starter to join their close knit team, likely in a Senior Advisor role at present or similar. To be considered you'll need to have a solid operational HR background and ideally have experience in fast paced businesses. An eagerness to see the job through to completion without being disheartened by the occasional bump in the road is highly desired for this team environment. You will ideally be CIPD or degree qualified and have a proactive approach to CPD.
