Macildowie HR is working with a global brand at their Rugby base to hire a dynamic and commercial HR Advisor. The main remit of the role is to provide expert and commercially sound advice and guidance on all HR matters, ensuring legal compliance. This is a permanent opportunity paying between ?28,000 and£32,000 dependant on experience.

The Role

Reporting in to the Senior HR Advisor this role will be focused on providing knowledgeable and commercially balanced guidance and advice on HR policies and procedures to line managers in a coaching and developmental style, to ensure that both legal and best practice is adhered to.

You will also need to establish key relationships and work with line managers and stakeholders to ensure effective management of employee lifecycle events; coaching and influencing where required and working to raise line manager capability in managing employee lifecycle events, escalating as appropriate common capability themes to the senior Leadership Team.

As well as the upskilling of line management you will assist in day to day support on disciplinary, grievance and general employee relations matters. Escalate ER issues as applicable and utilise the wider EU and US based HR teams as necessary

Alongside all of the generalist duties you will also be involved in some fantastic project work such as supporting the design and delivery of new training, looking at the long term people plan, ensuring the organisation has long term strategy for its recruitment, engagement surveys and the design and implementation of new induction programmes, as well as any other ad-hoc projects.

The Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will be an experienced HR Generalist, having looked after the full HR spectrum, from employee relations, to training and development, to recruitment and involvement in projects.

An up to date and working knowledge of employment law is an absolute must, alongside a coaching and advisory style, so as to give line managers and colleagues the very best service.
