Macildowie HR are working with a large, independent family owned business in North Leicestershire as they look for a permanent HR Generalist to join the small site on a part time basis, for 2-3 days a week (Open on hours/days worked). This role is offering up to ?30,000 FTE, for the right candidate, as well s range of other benefits.

The Role

This brand new role has come about due to organic growth and is a great time to join! You will work alongside the management team and report in to the Finance Director.

This role is paramount to the business as they don't currently have an HR department so you will build relations across the whole business and provide the support needed whilst being the face of HR.

Develop and manage recruitment process, from onboarding through to retention, whilst providing ideas on how to conduct a better HR service to the business

Responsible for the day to day management of all HR activities and key initiatives, such as Resourcing, Absence Management, Performance Management and Reporting

Responsible for developing effective relationships with managers of all levels in order to ensure the HR strategy is delivered effectively to meet the needs of the business.

This role will also touch on payroll in a supporting role, rather than running the full payroll. You will work alongside the Payroll Specialist to ensure accuracy and monitor holiday/sick pay.

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to be a strong relationship builder, commercially focused, a good coach and a pragmatic individual.

Have extensive HR generalist experience, ideally within a similar industry/sector

Be collaborative in your approach and focused on providing value across all HR activities

Be a credible and innovative professional
