Macildowie HR are working with an extremely successful award winning global professional organisation who work with major household names and is continuously to rapidly grow. This HR Director role will sit on the leadership team working with executives to set, lead and drive the people agenda to include key HR strategic initiatives, talent attraction, retention, organisation and leadership development, change management, cultural change, setting new values, reward and planning, talent & succession planning, employee engagement and performance management. The role is based in Leicestershire and paying ?57,000 - ?60,000, car allowance,pension and private health care.

Based from their Head Office in Leicester, reporting into the MD and sitting on the Leadership Team you will manage a HR Advisor and have real opportunity to drive the people agenda and take this innovative and entrepreneurial organisation to the next level.

In this niche role, this opportunity offers a great chance for you to shape the HR function, working with Directors to influence strategic direction and decision making for the group. Although this role is a strategic role, the organisation is very collaborative in nature and you will be expected to work operationally such as complex ER cases and administration tasks acting as a HR advisory service to employees of all levels.

Due to the continuous growth you will have the opportunity to future proof the organisation to ensure the structure is ready for growth and ensure the right talent is in the business for the future.

Various projects will include health & well-being strategies, improving communication, improving reward offerings, employee engagement and talent attraction and retention and defining the values linked to culture, performance and recruitment in order to develop a highly effective people culture!

The Candidate

We are ideally looking for someone who has worked in a design/creative/brand environment previously or at least with creative individuals. If not, then you'll have a creative background and have the understanding of how creative individuals tick. We are looking for a generalist HR professional with the experience and credibility to work with the leadership team (who are open to change) and have energy and enthusiasm to make things happen. You will understand how HR can benefit an organisation commercially and have the desire to proactively empower managers in order benefit their teams and the organisation as a whole. You will be professional/smart, calm and measured in person and be a good listener to understand individuals on a one to one bases and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
