Macildowie HR are currently working in partnership with a global logistics business to appoint a HR Business Partner for a 6 month interim role. Due to an exciting period of growth the business are looking for an experienced HR professional to join them to lead and manage on the implementation of a large scale TUPE transfer. This role reports into the Senior HR Business Partner, but will have a good degree of autonomy around delivering the project and as such must possess previous experience of managing complex TUPE scenarios. In return the HR Business Partner will receive a generous benefits package including company car.

As the HR Business Partner you will be responsible for leading and implementing a large scale TUPE transfer, ensuring that minimal disruption is caused to employees and processes. You will be an instrumental figure in driving the HR agenda as part of this change encouraging business focused strategies towards any identified areas of improvement. You will partner with a diverse group of stakeholders and act as an intermediary between your customers within the newly acquired business and the employer. This is a unionised environment so relationships with the unions are key. You will participate fully in any areas contributing towards people change and will use MI as part of the influencing process to encourage change where needs be. This role comes with a generalist remit so as part of the TUPE transfer you will be responsible for translating the needs of the business across all aspects of the people agenda including; learning and development, talent, resourcing and success planning, engagement and employee relations and the delivery of HR services.

The successful HR Business Partner will demonstrate a significant acumen around TUPE and have practical experience of leading projects of this kind. Experience of working within third party logistics would be beneficial but is not essential. They will be a successful influencer able to build strong relationships across all networks in a business and will possess agility in terms of their approach ensuring they are providing the best service to their stakeholders. A thorough understanding of , and experience within a generalist HR capacity would sit well with this role as the HR Business Partner must be able to understand the impact of change across all areas of HR process.
