HR Business Partner - Northampton with travel - 9 Month Contract - c?50,000

Macildowie Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with an employer of choice on an HR Business Partner vacancy. The role will be based from Northampton and will require some travel to other sites across the Midlands and London. The role will be recruited on a fixed term basis and will pay c?50,000.

The Role
The HR Business Partner will report into the HR Director and will lead on a variety of HR projects to move the business forward. The HR Business Partner will also deliver localised people plans to a small number of sites, working in collaboration with the site leadership populous and the wider HR team to deliver a role with a heavy projects focus.

The HR Business Partner will focus on a number of key HR initiatives whilst supporting the business with wider generalist matters. The project areas of highest priority for the postholder are implementation of the new modules within the HR system, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion and CSR.

The HR Business Partner will be expected to the fly the flag for HR at all times; advocating best HR practice and proactively engaging the business in communicating business wide initiatives or projects and amendments to policies or processes. As the business looks to further enhance its reputation as an employer of choice, the HR Business Partner will play a key role in creating a consistently high end HR service, driving engagement and performance.

As part of this varied generalist role, the HR Business Partner will be the go-to expert on a variety of matters including reward, learning and talent management. The postholder will work with the Recruitment Manager on specific recruitment campaigns and will ensure that a smooth onboarding takes place, but will also work proactively to track and further employee development with the business. Beyond the new employee cycle, the HR Business Partner will work with existing employees to provide development plans or career pathways which may require creating new learning courses or exploring the feasibility of secondments within the business. The postholder will act as mentor and guide to more junior HR team members and, working collaboratively, will help to develop a culture of ownership and accountability.
