Macildowie HR are working with a growing manufacturing business to recruit an HR Assistant to support the HR Manager and to provide a comprehensive administrative support service. This is a permanent role based in Leicestershire paying between ?22,000-?25,000.


The Role


Reporting to the HR manager you will play an integral part of the HR team, by being a the first point of call for the full employee life-cycle including but not limited to; recruitment administration, responding to job vacancies, preparation of documents for new starters, leavers, job applicants and other staff changes. You will also be involved in the preparation of letters and documentation regarding referencing and Right to Work checks
As well as this you will be tasked with general maintenance and updating of accurate record systems, both paper and electronic and also the provision of cost information and regular statistics.
Another key aspect of the role is being a part of the HR related annual events, such as salary reviews and bonus structures and deputising for the HR Advisors when necessary and escalating complex ER cases
Externally you will be working with prospective job applicants, external benefit providers and recruitment agencies. Internally you will establish and maintain relationships with managers and staff at all levels ensuring a great service.


Ideal Candidate:


The ideal candidate must have proven experience in similar HR role, with great administrative and organisation skills and some experience on assisting with employee relations cases.
As a person you will need great time management, be ale to work on own and make decisions an prioritise and produce quality work under pressure.
The successful candidate will take a positive attitude to dealing with queries and be able to adopt a pro-active and customer-focused attitude.
