Macildowie HR are working on an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join a growing and fantastic business based in Northampton. Looking for someone who is experienced in a generalist HR role that wants the opportunity to gain exposure with all areas of HR. The business is growing their HR team so will offer the opportunity for development and lots of project work. The role is initially a 6 month FTC but there is a high possibility of this getting extended for longer. The role will be paying up to ?25,000 FTE. The position is part time and is looking for someone to do approx 25 hours.

The Role:
This role will give you the opportunity to get involved in various aspects of HR, working alongside the wider HR team. This is a brilliant role if you are looking to develop and expand on your HR knowledge with the opportunity to really get involved in a fully generalist experience.

You will be supporting the HR Manager with:
- Providing first line advice across the business
- Support with note taking for investigation meetings
- Advice and guide on payroll related queries
- Managing the employee lifecycle
- Generating contracts, offer letters and making amendments
- Learning and development administration - delegate to various managers
- Liaise with senior stakeholders
- Supporting with the recruitment process including sourcing candidates and arranging interviews
- Provide support around compensation and benefits queries
- Manage the HR system
- Providing the correct information for performance reviews and appraisals
- Providing support in ongoing and new HR projects

The Candidate:
- Generalist HR experience
- Previous HR Administrative experience
- Ability to coordinate own ideas into the business
- Experience working at a similar level
- Approachable and friendly character
- Have a firm interest in wanting to develop a career in HR
- Previous experience using a HR System
- Able to build strong relationships
- Customer focused and strong interpersonal skills
- Professional and committed work ethic
- A positive and energetic personality

*The role will be approximately 25 hours however they can be very flexible with which hours you wish to do.
