Macildowie HR are pleased to be working with a well known business in the care industry who are looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join their HR team. Based in North Nottingham our client are a well established business with long standing values of professionalism, collaboration, honesty and positivity. Reporting into a HR Manager the HR Advisor will join an experienced team who pride themselves on their ability to work in collaboration. This is a permanent, full time opportunity offering a salary between ?22-25,000.

As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for engaging with your stakeholders across the business to ensure that the HR People Plan is effective in an operational environment. You will be the go to point of contact between HR and the business and accountable for supporting with activities relating to employee relations, engagement, well being, development and policy reviews. Whilst championing operational HR activities the HR Advisor will also have the opportunity to support with HR project work, particularly upskilling management capability:

So what will the role involve:

Support, coach and guide managers on issues relating to employee relations
Manage a varied, and at times high volume case load
Participate and support with interviews and assessment centres
Embedding the HR people plan in the wider business
Create strong relationships between HR and the wider business, creating a strong buy in to HR processes
Review and amend policies and procedures where necessary
Review employee engagement and with the support of MI analyse any potential areas of trend
Support in the upskilling of managers

The ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate a collaborative style of working
CIPD qualification desirable
Broad HR generalist experience in an advisor capacity
Experience of managing complex, varied and high volume case loads
Being able challenge colleagues in a supportive and intuitive way
Managing change resistance
Knowledge and understanding of various HR systems
Demonstrated experience of handling highly complex ER cases
Impeccable communication skills, both face to face and remotely
High levels of confidentiality
Flexible in location (some travel may be required)
