This is an exciting role for a highly regarded client based in Luton, they are looking for an HR advisor to take responsibility for delivery of a full range of human resource services, including advising managers of all levels on subjects such as employment relations, employee services and recruitment.

The Role

- Selecting, recruiting and on boarding employees and ownership of inductions.
- Assisting managers through the investigation, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Advising employees on the employee services provided, e.g. health care, pension (non-financial advice), EAP, Occupational health and First care.
-Providing ER advice and working through simple and complex ER cases across all departments.
-Providing full HR advice to the core function heads (finance, marketing, commercial and IT).
-Write and present information briefings on a range of HR related topics.
-Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
-Consulting on issues related to workplace relations and performance management and staff development.
-Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures, legislation.

Skills Required

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience within the remit of a HR Advisor. They will be CIPD qualified or equivalent, the desire to complete CIPD is necessary. Experience of working with databases and online systems is vital for the role, as well as a good understanding of employment law and human resources as a whole. The client is looking for a high calibre professional that will act with integrity and honesty and maintain confidentiality at all times. In addition, an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a down-to-earth approach would fit in well with the organisation.
