Macildowie HR are working with a global leader within their field as they look to recruit an HR Advisor on a temp to perm basis to be based on site in Leicester. Ideally to start ASAP and offering up to ?27,000 alongside other benefits.

The Role

To act as the first line HR professional for specific business units within the organisation, c400 employees, advising, facilitating and supporting on people issues, mainly at an operational and tactical level, relating to HR best practice.

You will build positive and effective key relationships within the business, and where appropriate with the client's HR team whilst providing support, advice and guidance with regards to ER issues, including disciplinary, grievance, appeals, tribunal applications, disputes, and TUPE arrangements.

Work with the HR Team to develop reports and metrics that report on the 'HR health' of the business, wherever possible utilising existing reporting methods and surveys.

Recruit all vacancies within remit ensuring a cost effective recruitment package which matches the customer's needs and requirements.

Attend senior operational management meetings on a weekly basis to deliver HR KPI's and any policy updates.

With operational management create and agree a training plan to identify and satisfy common training and development needs in regards to HR Training.

As a member of the HR Team contribute to projects that improve the quality of HR Services provided or where the business requires HR expertise as a member of the project team.

The Ideal Candidate

Strong grounding in all aspects of generalist HR Practice minimum 2 years

Experience of working within a fast paced business, manufacturing would be highly desirable.

Strong employment law knowledge.

Demonstrable report writing and presentation skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Packages.

Understanding of compensation and benefits packages, and pay and reward structures.
