Macildowie HR is working with a big player in the manufacturing industry to recruit a fast-paced HR Advisor based in Warwickshire. The role will be to get in to absence procedures and managing absence in general, through a variety of means, and to develop a HR system to monitor absence patterns and create analysis. The role initially is a permanent contract with the business looking to pay around ?26,000-?28,000, dependant on experience.

The Role:


The role will be very varied, but the main scope of the role will include conducting weekly meetings with product group representatives to review all direct, indirect, skilled and staff absentees to identify and carryout actions to facilitate speedy return to work. Actions may include absence review meetings and home visits, referrals to Occupational Health and requesting comprehensive medical report from GP.


You will also be involved in identifying and providing advice on disciplinary actions and other matters arising from the absence control procedures.


There will also be daily and weekly management of the Occupational Health Provision, arrange appointments and facilities, provide referral information and undertake appropriate actions from resulting medical reports.


The final key responsibility is to undertake exit interviews and develop meaningful labour turnover analysis and reporting which measures problems, identifies causes and recommends counter-measures.

Ideal Candidate:


The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience within a similar role and environment and have an excellent knowledge of HR policies & procedures.


This role will also need a sound knowledge of the principles of Employment Law in particular, Statutory rights, Equality Act 2010, Discrimination & rights of individuals at work.


You also need to be computer literate on word, excel, and HR Database Systems such as SAP and have experience in absence control procedures & managing absence in general.


Ideally qualified to CIPD or degree level in HRM.
