I am working with an exceptional business that operates across the country, who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor to join the HR team. This is a permanent role that will be located at their office in Manchester. The business is an entrepreneurial expert in the leisure and retail sector and they are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join them as they progress through a continued period of growth. With a headcount of over 500 and ambitions to expand further, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business where you can progress and develop.

This is a true generalist role that will see the HR Advisor engaging in all aspects of HR including, but not limited to, engagement, employee relations, recruitment and talent pipelining, learning and development and rewards and benefits. You will work with the senior managers across your business area and work closely with the wider HR team to devise a strong communications strategy to the business. Aside from the operational aspects to the role the HR Advisor will get the chance to progress and get involved with a number of strategic projects aligned to cultural change and engagement.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a role to stretch them and where they will gain true autonomy in their role. Working closely with the HR Business Partner and Head of HR you will have an excellent team around you. The ideal person must be able to demonstrate a strong coaching style, and be an engaging communicator able to achieve credibility quickly from managers. A strong generalist background is essential. Previous experience of operating as a HR Advisor is essential. Level 5 CIPD qualified and exposure to change management and transformation programmes are desired. Importantly this person must demonstrate that they are invested in the HR function and are looking to work with a business to achieve both commercial success and an engaging environment for employees.
