Macildowie HR are currently working in partnership with a leading organisation based in Northamptonshire who are seeking a HR Administrator to join their team. This will be on a permanent basis and is a really progressive and exciting role that will provide someone with a brilliant platform to develop their career upon. This role is paying up to ?20,000 depending on experience.

The Role:

As part of this role, you heavily support the HR Advisor and HR Manager on site with all HR related queries. Your role will be very generalist and will consist of all new start administration such as new starter packs, contracts, offer letters & referencing. You will also keep track on any internal promotions within the business. Alongside this you will work with the HR Advisor on onboarding candidates and ensuring that their learning and development is coordinated in the form of courses and arranging equipment when needed. You will also support the HR Advisor with reward and benefits and ensuring all administration is sent out to appropriate employees when these are set up.

You will also get involved in Employee Relations cases on an ad hoc basis but will be responsible for managing the absence trackers, ensuring these are up to date and notifying the HR Advisor of any trigger points. You will maintain the disciplinary and grievance trackers, again, ensuring they are up to date and accurate with the information passed down by the HR Advisor. You will get the opportunity to note take in disciplinary and grievance meetings.

The business is always trying to find new ways of improving the HR service on site which will involve lots of project work. You will get to work alongside both he HR Advisor and HR Manager on this project work to ensure they run smoothly and to expand on your exposure across HR.

The Candidate:
Ability to effectively manage high volume work load
Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
Excellent verbal and written communication
High level of listening and analytical skills
Ability to establish and build effective working relationships with strong interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Ensures confidentiality and protection of sensitive documentation and information
Good user knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook packages
Human resources experience preferred or a student studying or recently graduated in HR
Understanding of basic HR processes and policies and a desire to expand knowledge
Previous knowledge of HR systems is advantageous
