Macildowie HR are working with a leading business in Leicester who are renowned for their award winning services! This growing business are on the lookout for an HR Assistant to join their team as a Junior HR Advisor who is looking for more responsibility and the next step in their career. Offering up to ?20,000 for the right candidate alongside other attractive benefits.

The Role

You will work within the wider HR team to administer the starter packs and manage the leaver process, whilst maintaining the system and ensuring compliance

This role will touch on recruitment slightly, the organisation have a small recruitment team in place already but you may get involved in the screening process and help out at assessment centres

The business have a large L&D function, this is where most of their awards have come from, so you will get a great amount of exposure in this field.

Although this role is titled as an HR Administrator, this role will put on the path to become an HR Advisor as you will get involved with employee relations over time, getting involved with disciplinary and grievance meetings, sending outcome letters and giving advice to employees

You will also get many opportunities to get involved with various projects!

The Ideal Candidate

Solid HR Admin experience, roughly 2 years with incredible drive and passion as this role will develop quickly
In this role you need to provide a high level of service, internally and externally so confidence is key.

Other desirables include initiative, organisation and accuracy. There are aspects of lone working in this role and to deadlines but as you will be sat within the team they are wanting someone who is quite happy to roll their sleeves up and support where needed in the team. Being a team player is paramount.

The business are very passionate about training their employees so there will be lots of opportunities for you to study and train within your field!
