We are looking for a HR Administrator to join our clients busy UK HR Shared Services Centre in Altrincham, Cheshire. Our Client AkzoNobel is more than just the largest global paints and Coatings Company and major producer of speciality chemicals, a business recognised around the world for being first with ideas and driving improvement.

You will work within a team, responsible for all calls, cases and queries into the People Services function and responding in a helpful and professional manner within agreed SLA's.

This is a busy and varied role, which requires a high attention to detail, matched with the desire to provide excellent Customer service to our employees and managers within the organisation, relating to policies and procedures and support with contract queries, as well as support for our HR systems (time & attendance queries etc.).

The role which is varied will entail all HR Transactions, including drafting of employment contracts and amendment to contract letters, as well as processing payments such as salary, overtime and adhoc payments as well as taking ownership of the L&D administration activities. In this role you will liaise closely with other functions in the People Services team such as Payroll, HR Advisory, Learning and Development and HRBPs.

The ideal candidate will be a solid administrator with experience of working in a busy environment, be customer focused and have the ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative. Experience in a service centre environment would be desirable.

Excellent communication skills both written and spoken is essential along with organizational skills and ability to work to timeframes/SLA's whilst having a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
