Macildowie are pleased to be working in partnership with a business for the recruitment of a Head of HR Shared Services vacancy on an interim basis (6-9 months, potential to extend) to support continued Projects and positive business change. Supporting the Head of HR for this exciting business this newly created opportunity will role will support the Head with ongoing projects as required but also be accountable for leading and managing the provision of high quality, consistent employee lifecycle advice and support through appropriate teams that meets or exceeds the SLA, maximizes team and business productivity, confidence, and effectiveness. Accountable for the management of accurate and timely delivery of the 'end to end employee lifecycle transactional activity to facilitate the integrity of all HR data. Lead and manage the delivery of the end to end HR administrative services for all activities for the employee life cycle and continually drive and improve performance. Ensure the advice given to managers, employees and external parties is of a high quality, consistent and delivered in a customer focused way. To maximize the use of Manager and Employee Self-service and other technologies to reduce the activity volumes within the HR Shared Service Centre. EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Given the Fixed term contract candidates must be able to evidence their SSC experience in a current/previous role as well as demonstrable support and projects knowledge to allow the individual to quite literally hit the ground running. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively, resolving issues and understanding drivers/needs. Ability to build and establish effective relationships. Ability to lead and manage delivery operations with the ability to provide vision and direction to team members. Ability to see the big picture and keep the function focused on efforts that add significant value.
