Macildwie HR are working with an outstanding UK brand and employer of choice with their Head Office in the East Midlands to recruit an HR professional for a Regional Employee Relations Specialist to cover the Midlands and North. This organisation is a market leader who offer exceptional development plans for their employees, a stunning working environment and an excellent work life balance! Roles within this business are sought after and many roles open up to different opportunities within the business due to their successful talent and succession strategy including the development into a more generalist HR Business Partner role if interested. We are looking for a HR professional with excellent experience in employee relations either in a similar role or a generalist HR role where you've dealt with complex cases. We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships with key stakeholder's in order to hit the ground running. The role is paying ?40,000 - ?52,000 (dependant on experience) + 12% bonus + 9% pension + Private Healthcare.

The Role
Reporting into a highly experienced and passionate Employee Relations Manager and working alongside a team of ER Specialists, you will support and partner line managers and stakeholder's by providing high level advice and guidance to ensure all risk to the business is understood and mitigated with regards to people management, policy and decision making.

We are looking for someone who can promote a positive Employee Relations environment through developing and coaching your key stakeholder's in delivering a legally compliant and consistent best practice approach. With 30% - 50% travel you can be based at their head office in the East Midlands or working out at sites or at home, managing your own diary.

You will be the first point of contact and act as a coach leading on a full range of complex HR activities including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance management, change management and TUPE. You'll work collaboratively with the HR Business Partner team on the case management of individual complex, high risk and sensitive cases.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in an ER role within a fast paced customer centric organisation with a passion for ER and keen to continue to develop within this area or even into HR Business Partnering roles down the line. It would be great if you have first hand experience of supporting large scale organisational change along with experience of managing Early Consultation claims, judicial mediation and drafting Grounds of Resistance to employment tribunal claims although this is not essential.

You will have excellent communication skills in order to build strong working relationships with key stakeholder's in order to challenge and influence in the right way. You may come from a similar role, wanting to do a sideways step into a progressive and forward thinking well known brand and if desired, want to progress in a business that values its employees at the heart of what they do.
